We truly enjoy the journey starting with child or adult’s first lesson and taking them through the process of leasing and/or buying a horse to accentuate their strengths and help them achieve their goals. We are 100% dedicated to great service and will do whatever we can to assist you in achieving your goals and keeping your horse happy and healthy!
Many of our riders enjoy competing at Three Day Events and Dressage shows year round, trail riding around the beautiful private trails at Shiloh West Training Center, riding with our clinicians, doing High School and Middle School competitions with our IEA team and learning advanced horsemanship and riding with Skye Valley Pony Club. Many earn home show mileage in our hosted hunter jumper show series offered four times a year in a fun, supportive learning environment.
At Skye Valley you will be surrounded by a wonderful group of people who are caring, ethical, honest, educated, certified and family oriented. For the past decade we have been here at Shiloh West starting riders and developing riders and horses to top levels of competition with numerous wins and accomplishments! Many of our young riders have graduated on to fantastic universities and ivy league colleges. This is our passion and we love to be able to enjoy these wonderful animals everyday. We would love the opportunity to share our experience with you if you are accepted into our program.
Horses have been a part of Ainsley’s life from a very young age. Ainsley began riding with Skye Valley when she was eight years old. She continued to ride and compete through high school and college. During this time, she gained more experience with upper level eventing and discovered her passion for dressage. Through Pony Club, Ainsley has gained excellent horse management skills and veterinary knowledge. She has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver medals and is currently working towards her Gold medal. Ainsley has ridden and trained horses of all abilities in eventing and dressage and has ridden with Brian Sabo, Gina Miles, Alfredo Hernandez, and Liz Hendrix. Ainsley has attended the USDF L Program as well as the USDF Young Rider Graduate Program. In addition to riding, Ainsley has a passion for kinesiology and body mechanics. She recently completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State, East Bay. Her background in kinesiology gives her wonderful insight in rider position during all equestrian disciplines. Ainsley loves working with students of all ages and abilities. Her outgoing and positive personality allows for a harmonious environment for both horse and rider.
Chuy has been working with horses since a young age and takes great pride in their care and appearance.
