Team Chemistry Goes Beyond The Rink

Gather up some employees for your yearly 16-day business trip, there will be plenty of work to get done, but hardly any of it will be effective if you can't get along with each other. All work and no play seems like a great idea in everyones la la fantasy world, but in order to build a fast, effective, and top notch business you have to have some fun away from the office, err.. rink, with your fellow co-workers. Right?

Fan Commentary

I hate bandwagon jumpers more than anything, but at a certian point you have to remind yourself why the team makes you happy and stop caring about the idiots around you. This is unless of course someone is asking idiotic questions or making stupid statements, in which case it is your duty as a Hawks fan to toss them down the stairs, but NOT WHILE THE PUCK IS IN PLAY.

This position will mainly focus on the writing content of each article. No editing ability required. Each week IHN will come up with a top ten ranking by compling a mathematical formula based on the player performance for that particular week. This position will simply come up with a small description for each player as follows for that particular week, no mathematical skills required, I will take care of that portion myself.

Toews, Kane, Keith officially agree to multi-year deals

The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed today to a five-year contract extension with captain Jonathan Toews, a 13-year contract extension with alternate captain Duncan Keith and a five-year contact extension with right wing Patrick Kane.

“Today is another great day in our franchise’s decorated history,” Blackhawks General Manager Stan Bowman said. “We’ve said all along that the plan was to keep our core together for a long time and Jonathan, Duncan and Patrick are a major part of that. This is a large step toward setting the Blackhawks up for long-term success as an organization.” Read more...

Contest

OK, while we all wait for JT to find time to answer our questions I thought I would send our next RK's Corner in a different direction. I have many extra Blackhawks Pins/Magazines and some previous give aways. Lets come up with some contests we could run so that I can GIVE THEM AWAY to the winners. So far for contests going we have the Seasons Predictions, which the price is an autographed puck from one of our Blackhawks. I will start a contest thread in the forums and let your suggestions fly. In two weeks we'll pick the best ones and start from there.

Rough Road Slows Blackhawks Run For First

Recent struggles in the defensive end of the ice have the Blackhawks facing tough losses in Ottawa and Vancouver the past week. Unfortunately, that isn't the only issue the Hawks have had, the offense has also come to a halt, only burying five goals on their last 102 shots.
